[SIZE=10]O[/SIZE]  Please keep OOC to whispers or within the brackets []. Since this is a Role-playing dream, please respect those who RP and make some attempt at sticking with that. If the OOC chatter becomes excessive you might be asked to take it to whisper, or a messenger. Please do so. If it continues after we've asked then we might have no choice but to kick you from the dream. Be considerate of the other roleplayers within the dream!

[SIZE=10]O[/SIZE] Do NOT mix OOC & IC. It's just bad etiquette to do it, and it causes unneeded Drama. We are a Drama Free Zone here at Whispering Willows. If you do not understand what OOC & IC are, or don't even know what RP stands for, then you do NOT belong here. Sorry to be so harsh, but it's true. There are many places in which you can learn what they are.

[SIZE=10]O[/SIZE]  It is the 1178th year of the Dragon. The tavern is set in an era where there is very little technology as we know it today. There is NO electricty. NO machine guns or anything like that. Your character not fit? Tough. Please view the board for the information we provide on the Dragonlands.

[SIZE=10]O[/SIZE] Whispering Willows Inn is based in the land of Kasuria, part of the Dragonlands Continuality. We try and stick to it, but have consented to allowing, and disallowing a few character types that would not normally be found in the Dragonlands. Humans are welcome. Prime Characters are not. Demons are an iffy sort. The issue of religion is also addressed, and not confined to just the Primes.

[SIZE=10]O[/SIZE] NO NETSPEAK WHATSOEVER. Is isn't the hard to type a few extra letters for words like 'you' and 'are', etc. It just gives you the appearance of having very little intelligence when you do use netspeak. This goes as well to having an actual name (aka REAL. Not something that describes your char, ie The Blue Mage, or Hot Vampiress) for your character that fits with the setting. No names with numbers. I.E. Zach 2435. No exceptions.

[SIZE=10]O[/SIZE] If you wish to RP within this place you must have some sort of character description. No descriptions like 'I <3 Amy!', or lyrics/poetry. A good description tells of your character's appearance, letting people know just what they are looking at.

[SIZE=10]O[/SIZE] Leave the Drama at the door! This is a Drama-Free zone. If you've got some issues with an RP, or with another player, let the Staff or Owner know if it cannot be worked out peacefully between yourselves.

[SIZE=10]O[/SIZE]  Please note that in this dream if you choose to start a fight ICly, then you choose to waive the Consent rule for yourself, bringing upon yourself any and all consequences. You will NOT be able to use the Consent rule to keep the guards/bouncers/staff from tossing your character out, nor will complaints be taken about the eject command being used in such situations. You have been warned.

[SIZE=10]O[/SIZE] Please be respectful of staff and owner. The same goes for anyone playing in the dream. Showing disrespect even if it is meant as a joke will not be tolerated here. You will be warned once and if you do not stop you will be booted from the dream. Failure to comply with this simple rule could get you banned from the dream.

We will NOT tolorate harassment of any kind within the dream, or on our message board. If you, or someone else, is being harassed, whether it be on the boards or in the dream, please bring it to the attention of the Owner/Staff. It is recommened that you log any harassment in the dream. Below is a list of behaviors that will not be tolerated (Many thanks to Prroul for writing this up):

Rules Lawyering
Trying to use an alternate interpretation of the letter of the rules to avoid punishment for breaking the spirit of the rules. This also includes using loopholes, exploiting alternate usage of words, appealing to third-party rules, or any other method of attempting to avoid disciplinary action for actions taken.

Harassment
This is specifically targeting a specific person or group of people to constantly harass or pester. Please keep in mind there is a difference between staff doing their job (like asking you to refrain from acting like a jerk) and harassment. If you are constantly being asked to not do something by staff, or are constantly subject to infractions, then perhaps you need to change your actions or attittude or find another dream to RP in.

Disruptive
This is deliberately trying to disrupt the atmosphere of the establishment. We try to maintain a calm and peaceful atmosphere. People who keep trying to disrupt what is going on, or interfere with the smooth operation of the establishment, are not welcome here.

Failure to abide by these guidelines will result in being shown the door. The curtesy with which you are shown the door is directly related to the curtesy you have shown others.
